What we hope to create is a safe hub for children without a proper place to call home; a safe haven where all their basic physical, emotional and intellectual needs are met. For over thirty years, our founder, Comfort Nana Ama Owusu, with her passion for helping children, has helped by finding and providing the resources to make Weep Not Child impactful.

Weep Not Child knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2002, we realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is our sole reason for existing.
